Pool Specialists was founded in 2003 by Craig Wooster. Today the team handles weekly service, repairs, inspections, covers and liners, along with lifeguard staffing and pool management for community pools.

Craig W. Wooster
President and owner
Founded Pool Specialists in 2003. He holds a master’s in computer and electrical engineering from NJIT, worked in semiconductor design and sales, and has been a competitive swimmer since the age of seven. He has worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor.
Terri Wooster
Director of finance and human resources
Joined in 2014 after closing Papertown, the retail business she ran in Raleigh for 16 years. She oversees lifeguard hiring and management for community pools.
Farran Levy
Director of marketing
Has worked with Pool Specialists since 2004. She started as a lifeguard at 15, then became a dive coach and pool manager, and earned a marketing degree from FIDM San Diego.
Lamar Anderson
Service manager
Joined in March 2017. A six-year U.S. Navy veteran with 20 years of customer service experience.
Amanda Carr
IT specialist
Joined in 2017 and keeps our systems running.
