Pool opening and closing in Raleigh and the Triangle
Wake the pool up in spring and put it to bed properly in fall.

In spring we remove the safety cover and start up the equipment. In fall we install your cover and winterize the equipment. Chemicals are billed separately, and a green pool costs an additional $85 for customers who aren’t on regular service.

Opening and closing questions
When should I close the pool?
Install the safety cover before leaves fall. Don’t winterize the equipment until the water temperature drops below 65 degrees, which is typically late November or December in the Raleigh–Durham–Cary area.
Do you install tarps?
No. We install safety covers, not tarps.
Can I order a safety cover through you?
Yes. Order late August to mid-September; custom covers take 4–6 weeks to arrive and install.
